Our Work

Jewish History Month

Launched in May 2024, Jewish History Month is now on the calendar for all LMSD schools. The JFA is proud to have launched this and look forward to partnering with teachers, administrators and parents to make a successful, fun and educational Jewish History Month for everyone.
Collaboration with The Weitzman Museum - LMSD Residencies
in May 2024 JFA facilitated an agreement made between Lower Merion School District and the Weitzman Museum in Philadelphia to launch a residencies program for teachers and students. More info to follow

Antisemitism Training

Antisemitism training is an ongoing requirement for our teachers, administrators and our students. To date, we are thrilled that Stand with Us and JCRC have undertaken this important work within our district but much more is needed. We remain committed to working with our partners to build on this requirement to educate.
A Voice for our Community
We have built a strong JFA Board representing different schools within the community all committed to advocating for our students. We communicate with our community on whatsapp, which comprises parents, staff and teachers. We communicate with our school board and administration at school board and committee meetings and of course via email when needed on behalf of the community. Get in touch and join us on whatsapp.
